portal structure, which was in danger of collapsing, was rebuilt stone by stone and propped up with new wooden beams. Both this work as the main portal, which was about to start, are part of the World Monuments Watch (Guardian of the World Monuments), created in 1995 by World Monuments Fund (WMF) and the American Express Foundation, which allocates a million dollars annually to the conservation of historic and artistic treasures from around the globe, who are in danger of destruction. The works were commissioned directly by the architectural firm WMF Magadan and Associates, specializing in restoration. This form is due to an unhappy experience that an entity claims to have had in the past, when he donated funds to the national government never used for its intended purpose (Clarin / Society, Buens Aires, 27 Nov 2004).
